The conference is held under the auspices of the rector of Silesian University in Opava Assoc. Prof. Tomáš Gongol, and the dean of the School of Business Administration in Karvina, Silesian University in Opava, Assoc. Prof. Roman Šperka with financial support from the Statutory City Karviná.

The international scientific conference, titled as Economic and Societal Challenges of the European Economy, continues the tradition of conferences focused on the economic policy of EU member states, organised by the Silesian University in Opava, School of Business Administration in Karvina. This conference reflects the current situation in the European and global economy. Its aim is to discuss not only the present state of the European economy but also its future development and the potential challenges we may need to address.

Conference participants can choose between two formats of discussion – thematic round tables or classic sections with presentations of scientific research activities (details are available in the Registration Form).

Conference Fee

150 Euros – The fee includes meals during the conference, coffee breaks and conference materials.
